Last monday I received the third issue of 6surfmag. This is a Dutch Surfing magazine which comes out four times a year. It published a photo made by me during a photosession with the boys from Katwijk & Domburg on the 29th of October 2009.

Published: photo in Huck Magazine 2009
Huck magazine wrote an article about surfing in Holland. The editor of the article interviewed Hans van den Broek to get start with writing it. The final outcome was pretty good. The used a known photo of hans longboarding Scheveningen Noord. The article ‘The Flying Dutchmen’ can be found in Huck Magazine June 2009 on page 38.

In the second issue of 6surfmag 2009 I got my second cover photo. This was a big suprise for me since I was only told they needed material for my Photo Portfolio. This issue was a photo issue that of course contained a lot of photos but also lots of respect to all the lensmen that submit their photos for this magazine. Those who consistantly send in good material were asked to submit a small surfphotography portfolio. You can find my portfolio on page 56. As a final note you can find two of mine photos in the gallery on page 77 and 81.

Published: Cover & photos 6surfmag 2008 issue 1.
In the first issue of 6surfmag 2009 I got my first coverphoto published. I took this photo with Jurriaan Roos during our surftrip on the Canary Island Fuerteventura. In the Photo Gallery section of this issue you can also find another photo of Jurriaan that was taken by me.

Animal & C-skins Teamtrip
In november 2008 I was asked to join the Animal & C-skins team on a trip to Marocco. We would fly in on Marrakesh, drive to Agadir to stay in a surfcamp that is based in Taghazoute for one week. This was my first official trip as a surfphotographer. The complete coverage was also published in this issue of 6surfmag. You can find it on page 60 – 65. Published: Publicatie Zoom magazine February
In the February issue of Photographer Magazine ‘Zoom’. I was asked if the editorial of Zoom could use one of my waterphotos for an article. Since the magazine is widely sold throughout the country I donated the photo in exchange the would place my credits in the magazine. Lot’s of thanks goes out to Jurriaan Roos with who I made this photo. I also have to thank Alexander for taking time in sending the photo to me while I was traveling through Peru.

In the September 2008. 4 Foto’s geplaatst in Six Magazine, 4e editie 2009.
In the final issue the year 2009, 6surfmag published several photos. Three photos were published with the article ‘findesign’. You can find this article on page 28 – 33. In the Photo Gallery you can find two other photos that were taken by me. 3 out of 5 photos involve longboarding action with Hans van den Broek or Ruurd Mosterd.

In the third edition of the year 2008, 6 surfmag published several photos that were taken by me. Two photos can be found in the article ‘boardconstructies’ on page 32 – 39. The third photo is used with the interview of Jurriaan Roos and can be found on page 38.

Maart 2008. 2 Foto’s geplaatst in Six Magazine, 1e editie 2008.
In de eerste editie van het jaar 2008 zijn er twee fotos van mij geplaatst in de Six. Deze fotos waren genomen van Pascal van der Mast tijdens een surftrip in Portugal. De eerste fotos is bijgesloten bij het artikel “Jong oranje” wat te vinden is op pagina 18. De andere foto is terug te vinden op pagina 39 en is onderdeel van het artikel “Inside the barrel.”

In the first edition of 6surfmag 2007 you can find an article about the HSA Dutchtub Winterspecial 2007. I wrote this article as a pressrelease for all media. With this article there were some photos used. One of them was mine. Unfortunatly my credits weren’t placed due to a misunderstanding. You can find the entire article down here .
