Happy Newyear all!

Our Newyear wasnt that special. We hit the sack arround 01.30 so we could get up early for a dawn patrol. We got up a bit late but still scored perfect Anchor point with 4-6th waveheight. I splitted the peak with Bruce Boelens & Jord Fortmann and a few others. Around nine o’clock it started to get crowded so we got back in.

On the 2nd of January Waveheight was suprisingly small. We ended up at Devils rock with waves between 2-3ft. Perfect for longboarding so Jord & I decided to do a waterphotography shoot. We got some pretty good photos and later on I shot from land as well. Thanks Jord for the cooperation & the fun we had in and out of the water! Jord is a really cool and stoked guy to work with. Later this month we will do some more shooting & try to work out some other ideas.

Well, thats it for now. The upcoming two weeks I will be doing some more cultural stuff in the north of Morocco. I will be visiting Essaouira, Marrakesh, Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes & Fez. After that I will hook up with Jord & Bruce. I also tried to hook up with some Moroccan surfers. Got some nice contacts allready but we will see what will happen. To be continued!
